Dr. Justin Gibson is a native of Eufaula, Alabama, and is the Lead Veterinarian at Livewell Animal Urgent Care. He attended Auburn University for his Bachelor’s in Animal Science before earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with honors from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 – War Eagle!

After graduation, he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he worked as an emergency veterinarian for a large 24-hour general practice, emergency, and specialty clinic. In 2020 he moved to Tennessee and began working for Nashville Veterinary Specialists. In January 2023, he founded Livewell as an opportunity to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency vet clinics and looks forward to the impact he can make on East Nashville pets and their parents in an urgent care hospital.

He enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine and has an interest in soft tissue surgery and abdominal ultrasound. Dr. Gibson currently lives in Hendersonville with his wife Emma and his pup, a giant schnauzer named Miller. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, on the lake, or working on his next home project.
